yes, and it is sorta a hybrid. You can customize it, so you can play exactly how you want.

In one of the videos it looked like movement was controlled by mouse click, but when I played Aion at PAX they only had WASD movement setup, will players be able to choose either?

I hate the fact i can't have an opinion - jsut mentioned one thing already got -3 on most of my comments - look at my videos i make my own aion videos because i love the game... people who are minusing me probly don't take there free to because they're dedicated to the game like i am!

ifeel sad now - no offence but you made this game look dead bad cz you were so far zoomed out, i am always close up to my character because the graphics look so much better when you are

Well, I was happy to participate at all and was really excited so this footage isnt the best, but getting to the point: I dont think I am making the game look bad just because I zoomed out O.o
