I made this fan video because I'm a huge fan of the two Terminator movies by James Cameron.
The video consists of three Future War scenes from "The Terminator" and "T2: Judgment Day".

I'm not the first person on Youtube that decided to post Future War scenes from "The Terminator" movies, but most of those videos are poor quality and badly edited,
so I made my own video...It took some time to edit, hope you guys like it.

I didn't include the Future War scene from "Terminator 3", because one, it wasn't made by Cameron and two, I absolutely hate it.
The sound effects in the T3 Future War scene are all wrong and they didn't capture James Cameron's visual style at all, also, the human resistance members and John Connor look like a bunch of flag-waving hillbillies.
In Cameron's movies, the resistance members are organized, battle hardened and their uniforms kick ass.

Enjoy the video and buy these two movies on DVD/Bluray, they are works of art and belong in anyones movie collection...and do yourself a favor, forget about "Terminator 3", pretend it never was created.

The third scene is off course from the T2 opening.

Compared to the previous two scenes which started with a minor skirmish 2:46 and then a smaller battle 4:37...In the third scene it's full scale war between Skynet and Tech-Com forces 7:24.

That's why I chose the different scene order, a better flow.

The start of the video is pretty much without much action, untill a Terminator goes on a killing spree inside the hidden human base, with Reese getting slightly wounded and most likely pissed off, note the fire in the background?

The second scene in this video is the hit and run on the HK Tank, it's almost like Reese is getting some payback and he does, he destroys the HK Tank.

Sadly he gets hit again, this time by a flying HK, the scene ends with fire, mirroring the previous scene. I like that

"The order you put them in, was it the chronological order in the events? Cause they did not appear in that order in the movie itself!"

No, I did not use the chronological order from the first movie.

In Terminator (1984), the scene inside the base 1:05 actually comes after the scene where Reese takes out the Hunter Killer Tank 5:12.

I chose this order because for this video, the 'flow' so to speak, was much better.

@sexyloser You have to remember something dude, This future war is set in 2029-2032. The one in Salvation was in (I think) 2016-2018. Big difference trust me.

I really wish Cameron would of made a whole movie based on this future. Would of been freaking awesome.  Very depressing, dark atmosphere, excellent soundtrack, good special effects (still for today)

Salvation's future just doesn't do it for me.

@UchuuKeijiRaidanjin We may *never* see a Terminator future war like this if that moron McG gets to direct T5 and T6. Read what he wants to do with T5's story plot. He wants there to be time travel already, a return to pre-Judgment Day 2011 for John to warn the world as a Skynet invasion is about to happen and the war will be fought with conventional weapons.

Saying oh it's only 2018 is just bullshit to rationalize it. The TV show was more faithful to the real future war.
