@JilaX Don´t really understand your comment here. I dig Buddy Guy, I have several CDs of him, and actually play some of his music (I try to at least).
My point was that people don´t seem to understand the impact Buddy Guy had, still has for that matter, on electric guitar playing, particularly electric blues guitar. You´re absolutely right, Buddy Guy was a major influence on several of the british blues greats: Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Mike Bloomfield and Jeff Beck. B Guy is a living legend!

that's like your bizarre opinion man. it's a simple fact that Buddy Guy is one of the most influential guitarists and stagemen in blues and pop music history.
I think that if he's good enough for Hendrix, Clapton and SRV to steal his playing style, then it doesn't really matter what you think.
i think heavy metal and modern "rock" are just noise, and there's plenty of preteens and people with bad taste that would be pissed at me.
so keep your peter green, i'll keep diggin Buddy Guy
