  • @gera1690 Hi, thanks. It takes a wee bit of practice to get that alternating bass going, once used to it you can knock out some wicked tunes, almost limitless what you can play too.

  • The constant low D with thumb is great. I hear bits of "Vastapol" and "John Henry" in there. Very traditional uses of open-D.

  • Hey thanks for that! Well spotted too, one of the very first tunes I learned to play was John Henry on the 5 string banjo in d tuning!!! I took the same approach for this tune.
