She's dead...good. Living in a vegetative state with no way to intelligibly communicate with people is like solitary confinement, there's no way I could imagine she was happy like that.

Anyway, what were we supposed to do? Keep some brain-dead bag of meat sustained until death by bedsore? This is such a black and white fucking case it astounds me people still believe she should still be "alive".

@GordonWayneWatts Not every handicapped person is in a "vegetative state", they're not all "brain-dead", and most of them have ways to "intelligibly communicate" with others.

@scatcoitusmoosic Well, while I don't think they should have starved or dehydrated her at all, I agree with you:

If they _were_ going to do it, yes, they should have called in Dr. Jack Kevorkian (aka "Dr. Death") and done it quickly & painlessly with his "assisted suicide" methods, perhaps using lethal injection or similar.
