I had issues with spikes and dropouts when running Traktor Scratch 2 in line with what this video proposes I downloaded and used "Game Booster 3" which shuts down any unnecessary programs that run in the background and now I have no issues at all.

My computer is working now but should I be worried since I updates the bios?
-
I just updated my bios on my Dell and during the reboot would not completely start up. I checked the comments after that and all I see is DO NOT UPDATE bios. Super.
It has finally turned on normally but should I still be worried? Should I even go through with the rest of the advice on this video?
I just got my Dell xps laptop back and I have USB dropouts now. Trying to fix the problem but I don't wanna fuck it up more.

@IEatHarlots Thank you for pointing this out. I just contacted Dubspot and asked them to put a warning in the video so people don't go updating their BIOS. The reason I put that in there is because it is recommended by Native Instruments to update your BIOS.
To all commenting on Mac vs. PC, it's absolutely a matter of preference, they're very different animals. Mac is a closed, proprietary architecture. Therefore it is MUCH more expensive and requires less tweaking. Windows on the other hand runs on a HUGE range of PC hardware which is why it requires a little more tailoring depending on what you want to use it for (like audio). Since we've done a lot of mac vids at Dubspot we made this to show some love to our Windows user fans.
