Stew Lane and The Untouchables perform Superkarma.
This was recorded at Fox Studio in Manhattan, and finished in November 1980. It was released first in Canada in 1981. It was a follow up to the album, 'Harder Than Wax'.
The recording features the brilliant Fred Zarr on keyboards and the amazing vocals of Lisa Fischer who went on to sing for The Rolling Stones. Brian Hardgroove plays bass. He went on to play and produce and work with Public Enemy.
Bob Stander plays guitar. He now is a music producer.
The song combines funk, punk, new wave and disco elements.
Footage was shot in the Manhattan, on the roof-top of artist, John Button, in the hotel where Stew Lane was living and in Adelaide, Australia.
