@moodymoody87 In a world ravaged by wars due to confusion and mis-interpretation, the least we should do is refine the translation. Brother, it is certainly best for you and everyone else to change the translation, as you have the youtube privilleges for you to do so. Jazakha'la'khir, may Allah guide us to his light inshAllah

@moodymoody87 This definition is very different to the islamic and universally recognized definition of Lord. Lord in Islam is best defined by the 99 attributes that belong to The 1 and only, Allah SWT. Allah SWT and his messengers (pbuh) love those who strive for clarity in their speech and translations, and so it follows that words that offer less confusion are infinitely more preferable.
-
@moodymoody87 However, the symantic confusion arises as the west have used the word "lord" to denote certain individuals so that they are held high in esteem within an aristocratic framework of society.

@undagroundtruth Salamwalaikum brother. Definition of Master: One that has control over another or others. The word Lord is synonmous with God.

Mahshallah
beautifull, amazing, inspiring, touching, spiritually uplifting.
Beautiful recitation. Just a point to the person who posted the lyrics that Sayyidina does not mean lord but rather it means Beloved. Referring to the Prophet Muhammad (saws) as Lord is inappropriate and can lead others to believe that we worship the prophet Muhammad (saws) which we do not.

@ZayNadorable
salamualaikum
that translation isn't made by me. That's Shaykh Hamza's translation from his Burda book.
And Sayyiduna doesn't mean beloved, it means master.
Beloved would be habibuna.
sorry the extremely late reply
