  • M.A. is absolutely right. Newspapers are dead. TIME magazine, last week, just listed 10 major city papers that are in serious trouble. Their readership is literally dying and not being replaced. In a matter of few years, most people will get their news from an iPhone hand held pc or laptop. The existing newspapers should kill their print divisions and focus all of their attention on their Internet presence. Those that don't will be dead withing a matter of a few years.

  • there is a problem with killing print-it is making the assumption that the only people who can and will read the paper now own a computer....very elitist..and going to the library to read up on the news is not realistic, unless you want to wait around all day...anybody else??

  • good point :)

  • Kill print? 10-29-08 and I am the 25th person to watch this online. Pulp fiction.
