I hate those hipster hats.

I joined a small group of networkers. There are bloggers, small business owners, designers, etc. you get the picture. It's just like this with articles and books. Everybody's doing the intellectual equivalent of whipping it out with a measuring tape. It gets real old real fast.

@Jonmad17 No, being yourself is being yourself. How the fuck that translates into being a dumbass is nonsense. Just because someone doesn't want to act like a group of people would doesn't make them unintelligent, uninformed, ignorant, or have no sense of the world around them. and god, I hope you're not being yourself, because the real you sounds like an asshole.

Am I the only person that sees the genius of this skit? I was SO a victim of the consumerist pseudo-intellectualism fostered by college life, and that is brilliantly satired here. It's like, if you hadn't read the latest edgy book or article, seen the latest play at Trustus, caught that anticipated House of Blues show, then you were somehow a loser. It was only post-grad, when everyone went their separate ways, that the reality of life on one's own hit that I realized, I just gotta be me.
