i have this same camera..i love it. but one question, why didnt you upload the video to 1080p? you want to see some nasty details as to the clarity of this camera check out a couple of my videos. its a little graphic but at least it shows the potential of this camera

You should try to correct colours with software - you can get better (more acurate) results. Also to tell you honestly Canon gives more natural colours and better image processing. But anyway - it's nice. Good luck.

Cool! I'm getting ready to test my housing and cam in freshwater environments. I got the video line and pole mount so I can film from the bank or a boat. Any tips?

Sony makes underwater housing for about 350. but only goes 17 ft.

i think the Equinox HD 6 is listed as $949.
But there's other things you can buy on top of that like filters and lighting.
Also, Im not sure thered filter really worked that well, but its like anything just keep playing with it. I think there's a lot of potential for a great looking video once you get the lighting and coloration down.

I Payed extra $350.00 for the View Finder "Monitor" also $100 for a compass that was added to the Housing also... The Filter is an amber color... I found out that the filter is to be used at deeper water 35'-100' with lighting... I got most of it working.. But yes I do need lighting also... Please post more ideas if you have any thanx... PS look at the Other video let me know what you think... thanx again
