On one side of this twisty tale of murder and revenge lies the dark and brooding Fu Hung-Suet (Ti Lung). Dressed from head to toe in basic black, Fu wanders from town to town, dispatching his enemies with his impressive ebony sabre. On the other end of the spectrum is the happy-go-lucky Yip Hoi (Frankie Chan), a cheeky, mustachioed fellow who dresses in white and happens to be a proficient martial artist. As one would expect, the two contrasting swordsman are locked on a proverbial collision course with destiny as both are invited to the home of the villainous Ma Hong-Kwan, who has a sinister connection to our heroes.

@reaper060670 Well, per his bio he born in 1946, was 23 when he made his first film, and so he'd have been 47 in this one. Looked okay to me, but then I'm pushing sixty. All relative, I guess.

@reaper060670 :Someone in a forum wrote that Ti Lung was addicted to alcohol in a short period.If that was true,then that must have somewhat affected his health and appearance .

So this movie is remake of Pursuit of vengeance . This is interesting .But how I wish Ti Lung were young again...young again.

Ti Lung got very shook lookin in this film, eh? By shook I mean old..He aged rapidly but it seems to happen to a lot of actors..Maybe it's all those yrs under those big lights that they work under, eh? Brilliant film tho..I love these types of films..looks like a wasteland out there..
