  • ¡Qué bien lo has expresado!

  • In the history of music, all around the world, there has been quite a few gems very inspired and inspiring that have blessed some exceptional musicians. This Rondenã de Ramon Montoya has a timeless quality that even the limited quality of the recording can't alter. I was 11 when i heard it first, and its depth and subtlety never faded since, in my heart.

    Thanks for posting it.

As you do, I think is the best flamenco guitar composition of all times.

    Intentaré "subir" algún otro tema.

  • no se como el lo hace. Simplemente increible.

  • @lousparre My real name is Dan and I am a Flamenco Guitar aspirant. I also play grass roots American Folk music on steel strings. Do you play?

  • @pattietatoo yeah. His contribution was no doubt enormous. Thanks for your input and info.

  • @lousparre I really never heard that he dissed him. Anyway, Segovia made piano chords on the guitar which up until that time nobody had accomplished anything like that at all. Everyone is going to have something that someone else does not care for. Who else transposed such great keyboard composers to the guitar? He basically made The Classical Guitar what it is today. Williams & Bream, etc are all playing his sheet music I surmise. Thanks for the feedback!

  • @pattietatoo Totally. Definitely not an easy task. I guess I tend to admire composers a slight bit more than interpreters. I also hate the way he dissed Tarrega for having short nails!

  • @lousparre He didn't have to write anything. He transposed Bach and Mozart etc to the guitar. Bach and Mozart was written for piano and harpsichord. That was quite a feat in itself! Segovia was a Giant! Ramon Montoya was the Maestro Of Flamenco!

  • @pattietatoo except segovia never wrote anything
