Julio Rios explica el siguiente problema usando la Ley de Cosenos:

De un puerto sale un barco a las 2:00 PM con velocidad constante de 60 km/h hacia el Este. A las 3:00 PM sale, del mismo puerto, otro barco con velocidad constante de 40 km/h y con rumbo N18°E. ¿Qué distancia separa los barcos a las 5:00 PM?
