Too bad Energon as a series isn't as good as this vid. It's like the people who made it only saw the toys and skimmed the last episode of Armada before deciding to make a direct sequal. One can spend hours ranting about how bad Energon is from the plot holes big enough Unicron fell through, the cruddy animation, and how they threw out 98% of Armadas story despite Armada being a prequel and way better, but that wouldn't polish this turd of a show, and to think Cybertron is leaps and bounds worse.

@BaxterXenon I liked Beast Wars and thoroughly enjoy Prime, I just strongly feel Hasbro messed up when they commissioned three different companies to make the three series. The first company did an excellent job, the second did a horrible job, and the third company went out of their way to do something they wanted without any regard for what they were supposed to do and ended up making the only Transformers series that should never have existed, well outside of beast machines.

@sypoth Thats one of the reasons i liked Transformers Animated. At least they didn't try to fuck up my favorite Armada series. Energon had horrible combinations and mock the robot fusions in Armada, Cybertron turned Transformers into an anime. Really now i think transformers was better when it wasn't 3-D. Fuck this i want my transformers franchise back.

@lich109 In BOTH the U.S. and Japan Cybertron is a direct sequel to Energon, pretending the first two didn't happen while being a direct sequal keeps points one and three validated. The stupid part of the keys was that eight transformers from different factions used them without having them at the same time to power up. 4.) everything but the kids who stumbled across them used Cell animation, which as Energon proved looked like crud, 5-80 won't fit, so they will have to be saved for later.

@sypoth You forget that Cybertron goes way out of it's way to pretend the first two shows never happened, and I believe it aired as a stand alone show in either Japan, or North America (I forget which), that takes care of points one and three, and I won't debate you if you think the keys are stupid, as that is personal preference. I would still argue Energon is far worse not only in terms of animation, but also story and continuity.

@lich109 Cybertron, a direct sequel to Energon in all fictions Fails in many ways. 1.) In energon every person on earth was transported to Cybertron and know about the transformers, in Cybertron they suddenly had mass amnesia. 2.)Planet keys that can only four exist but every robot that's come in contact with can use to power up? retarded. 3)how do they not know by now that the recolored Megatron is actually Galvatron? since I am limited in characters and can't finish the list I'll stop here.
