  • that skin is hot. but it sounds like shit

  • In all my years of studying djembe (Malian, Guinean and Ivorian) and many trips to Guinea, I have consistently heard from all of my teachers that only the Tambacunda region of Eastern Senegal has any relation to the history of the djembe; this would certainly rule out any djembe rhythm from the Wolof people. Sabar, serruba, bugaraboo are great and actually have a root in Senegal. It is also a good idea to remove rings when playing djembe (for the ring *and* the drum).

  • ok thanks i got it. But please take off rings and watches for play djembe :D
