Minimalist video I shot from my old apartment overlooking Downtown Los Angeles on a rainy day, set to Philip Glass's Opening to Glassworks.

  • Minimalist? As in, minimal effort?

  • @AlexanderLee1 you could say that. the brain has a funny way of not correlating effort with aesthetic pleasure very well, and unfortunately i can't do much about that. Glass, Reich, Riley, Nyman, would all be in trouble if that weren't the case. but of course, it doesn't do the trick for everyone.

  • is there an ortodox cathedral in the center?

  • @stephaniemagritte at least at the time I was in school, it started as a Christian Science church; they left. it then became a Korean Church; they also left. it has since become an Art of Living center. funny how those things change.

  • I heard today that the love of my life has married another. I am wallowing in Havana Club and musing upon what might have been.... I came here for solace.
