Our 1 month old baby Goffin Cockatoo!

The breeder just sent this, we have other parrots as well, so we know what we are getting into before anyone comments lol, but wanted to show him off a bit and this is him crying for his food, which is normal for a baby up to even a year and a half! But I asked her a question and she sent me this. Well now we know! lol If you read up on Goffin's they will cry, ours still now almost a year old cries for his attention lol. Not exactly like he does here, but they are big babies. He is now almost a year old and doing very well with us! We got him at 10 weeks old and finished spoon feeding him. I do not suggest that for everyone, but because we have other parrot experience we took it on so we could have the bonding experience with him. Keep in mind this video is almost a year old now. Update July 12th He is now over a year old and doing very well. This video was also just shown on G4 TV on their show called Web Soup! We were very excited to see our little 'monster" lol on TV! Thanks G4!

my breeder going to delivery my 5 weeks old goffin cockatoo tomorrow i live in apartment are they noisy for apartment? is there any problem with handfeed goffin cockatoo? if he is noisy for apartment i whould take a diffirent bird which whouldnt be that noisy cus i dont want to get kicked out in my apartment i already have 2 years old yellow nape amazon,7 weeks old solomon island eclectus,3 weeks old african grey congo ,2 another congo babies on the way... lol

Sure that's a bird? Sounds like a dinosaur to me :) Really interesting to see how a baby moves, looked like his feet were getting all tangled up!

@robertmarc1 it's not a cockatiel hon lol, very very different. He's a Cockatoo, much larger then a cockatiel. And Cockatoo's are always loud, they go through their screaming in the morning and then again in the evening. You can't yell at them for this is their call to their flock that is a natural call for them. If you yell at them it makes it much worse so you just have to let them do it. It's something you either enjoy or hate and better to know before you get one.

@CarbonDioxide1990 when they are babies like that they get fed just like a human baby every 2 hours. We got him when he was 10 weeks old and we fed him a few times a day like the spoon feeding video I have on here as well. It's not something I suggest for anyone, it's something you need to know how to do or your little one will starve.

That is one wicked cry coming from such a little thing! XD They should use it in a horror movie or something. x_x Adorable baby though. <3
