@MalcNedd62 I knew this for years. Roger wouldn't be playing that drum machine pattern and that is John's rhythm guitar tone (Brian has that distorted tone). This is just Freddie and John (who were the two that kept Brian and Roger's rock and roll indulgements in check). Freddie is probably rolling in his grave now over Brian and Roger's collaborations with Robbie Williams/Britney + Beyonce + Pink/Adam Lambert which John has called "blasphemy to Freddie's memory".

great song, if it had David Bowie's backing vocals as planned, this could've been one of the best on the album.

@MalcNedd62 Yeah it is often said that he comes from a more soul and funk background of music. This is his kind of music.

I like this track, but I still can't believe this was by Queen! A certain online encyclopedia says that all the instruments on this track were played by (bassist) John Deacon, which might account for the "feel" of it

@nastyfreedom what about the drums?
Freddie was the coolest cat of them all.

The guitar riff drags you in, the bass makes you bob your head, and the vocals keep you comin' back,
