The Chiplakov Cottage (Чиплакова колиба)

This place is AWESOME!

For those living the city life, with all the rush and noise, this forest-embraced getaway might as well be a revealing experience - chopping wood to make your own fire, smelling the burning wood, grilling meat, cooking food, old-fashioned house-cleaning... having at disposal all the necessary tools, and actually ENJOY doing it all, comes also with "a cherry on top": having your first coffee at sunrise. UNFORGETABLE!...

No, no, don't worry about sleeping till noon - that won't happen :) Your days at the cottage would be so filled with activities (that you yourself wil set), and your lungs so tired of breathing all that fresh clean air, that in the evenings you won't be able to help it but go to sleep early... Very early ;)

But still, NOT before you gaze at the clear endless sky, being actually able to SEE STARS - remember those tiny little lights? Those pin-point holes in the curtain of the night, that city lights and smog have hidden from us way long ago?... Well, they are all here. Feast your eyes.

During the day you can either take a walk in the woods, or at the shore of the nearby (10 min walk) Lake Berovo, or visit the town of Berovo (1/2 hr walk, 5 min by car)... or simply stay at the cottage and enjoy doing NOTHING :) - no tasks, no deadlines, no crazy bosses, no laptops, no cells...

Peace and quiet. You, your beloved and Mother Nature's creations...

Don't be worried if in the beginning your ears start to buzz - it's completely normal. Your audible tool is so overwhelmingly overloaded by urban noise during the week that it just has to take a day or so to adapt...

... And last, but not least: TRY TO STAY AT LEAST 4 DAYS. My own weekend experience at the cottage was just not enough, as I was just getting to feel at home when it was already time to leave...
