As London prepares for the Olympics, bureaucrats and law-makers have been busy too - enacting a range of rules and regulations. Draconian measures are already excluding some people from the country, while a number of residents have been banned from the games -simply because they've objected to the construction of Olympic facilities near their homes. RT's Laura Smith has more.

    Fuck don't watch the olympics... So a free and sovereign English can't move close to a Olympic game but a foreigner athlete can can move around.. And who pays for security ?

    What a load of rubbish masquerading as sport.This is all down to a formula that pleases the media and the corporate investors. The opening dance off was all X factor and a insult to the N.H.S. Most of the competitors live a very unbalanced life. Where has amateurism gone to?
