Art for Advocacy actively promotes positive social change by building a deep awareness of child rights while simultaneously providing students with opportunities to engage with the arts. Through learning effective skills and techniques to create multi-media artworks children can creatively express their ideas and opinions on social justice issues.
Save the Children is looking for interested schools to take part in the Art for Advocacy Project.
The project will involve FREE workshops in:
• Human Rights and the UNCRC
• Visual Art with a community artist
• Multimedia to build an online exhibition space
The project will culminate in a public exhibition showcasing student artworks and taking the ideas and views of the students involved to a wider community audience.
