  • @njacob909 Fasting is a spiritual discipline. Orthodoxy is about the soul. If one cannot control the body how can one control the passions? Or pray in silence? It is not so much about the fast but yourself....your relationship to God through Christ empowered through the indwelling Holy Spirit.

  • @mariofreak444 Actually, that's a bit misleading. The Orthodox Church does indeed ordain married men to be priests, but once an unmarried man is ordained a priest he cannot marry after that. Nor can a married priest whose wife has died marry another woman.

  • Searched for Rev. Fr. Michael Courey after watching "Sermon on the Mound" by Eliot Rausc

  • Curious there Testeraccount1...what is your background for comment? The Orthodox church has been from the beginning. Most of the Traditions and Rites come directly from the Apostles. A good read of the Ante Nicene fathers, Didache and even general history from such as Josephus will be beneficial to inform.

  • Your pagan imagery and man made holidays are not biblically sound. Don't claim to be christian and yet break God's laws.

  • @BitterCanuck cool story bro

  • @mariofreak444 My mistake. All Xians look a like to me.

  • @BitterCanuck Orthodox =/= Catholic

Orthodox Christians can marry as priests.
