Only because I remain undecided for the appropriate videogame or anime subject on many installments of this collection is why I have been jumping around the numbers recently. My knowledge of these fields only goes so far from my personal experiences with them...
Continuing on this incredible streak of producing videos like never before, (And with the first Anime-based James Bond 007 AMV), I began to gather the most desired and appropriate footage of an Anime series I was actually a large fan of for many years, going so far as to read the manga and collect all three volumes of the show's soundtrack.
Unlike "Yu Yu Hakusho" for "You Only Live Twice", the decision to use "InuYasha" for "Diamonds Are Forever" was not from a single intuitive hunch that I decided to act upon after weighing all possible outcomes...but from a through understanding and passion for the series, its' plot and characters.
This would be a video FROM a true "InuYasha" fan...visualized, assembled, and released FOR the millions of other fans the world over. So even though the fact that this song is actually shorter than "You Only Live Twice", I have gone to practically quantum lengths to produce an AMV where the music and the footage compliment each other's nature in perfect harmony, with one never overshadowing tuning out the other.
As I probably say quite often, I believe that this could be my greatest work yet in this project. It's one thing to make a song and video physically sync well with each other...but to aspire to do it on a much more, almost intimate, level...as if you were trying to merge their very souls together...and so that other people can see that and appreciate it fully...that's when you have truly defined the art of the 'Animated Music Video'.
Now then, please go ahead and enjoy "James Bond 007 AMV #7: Diamonds Are Forever (InuYasha)" and feel free to speak your mind afterwards if, whether or not, I have succeeded to even a fraction of my desires for this video.
I never get tired of watching this!

Neither can I. It's rather enchanting, even amongst all the others, isn't it?
I would definitely love to do a remake in HD when I get the series on DVD and better video capturing equipment. Hell, let's see what happens with that new season of Inuyasha playing in Japan right now.

Here I am, watching this again. This is good, good, good. Even if it has something to do with something personal toward someone; it's still a great AMV and that's all.

Why thank you very much.
It's more like a gift to a special friend of mine. The majority of these Bond AMVs are dedicated to friends and family, for all the inspiration and encouragement they give me to pursue my ideas...and also for tolerating this crazy son of a bitch. *laughs*

Lol, yeah, I used to think that too when I first heard it, but they're just lyrics (written by the genius Don Black) and they're supposed to reflect the overall tone of the movie and not necessarily the artist, Shirley Bassey.
I'm willing to bet that she enjoyed this one especially, out of the three Bond theme songs that she's done.
