My folks were hippies. Back in the 60's, The Monkees were criticized by the press as being commercial while some of the musical "elite" snubbed their noses at them. It took Frank Zappa, Jerry Garcia, Jimi Hendrix & CSNY to stand up for them, recognizing that their talent was being overshadowed by the critical, manipulative press. At least Nickelback actually pick up musical instruments & play. And they play well.

NOT cool. Why the hell should the band stay on the stage for a bunch of self-entitled, petulant punks who think "Nickelback sucks duuude." I'm sure there were some considerate people in the audience who were embarrassed by the childish behaviour of their fellow concert attendees. The individuals who chucked the rocks deserve a big fat adolescent FAIL.
