Sherrod has led the fight in Congress to stop unfair trade agreements that outsource U.S. jobs overseas.

Ohio has lost more than 195,000 manufacturing jobs since 2001. Ohio Republican incumbent Senator Mike DeWine supported the North American Free Trade Agreement and voted for the Central American Free Trade Agreement and Permanent Normalized Trade Relations with China.

DeWine has taken more than $1 million from companies that outsourced U.S. jobs and voted for special tax breaks for companies sending those jobs overseas.

  • Funny. Considering small farmers are now out of work because he voted to make it illegal to sell produce you grow yourself....

  • Biggest socialist since Marx, Ohio should vote to recall this horses ass.

  • In the paraphrased words of the former Attorney General of the United States (R.F.K.) . "May I suggest that during the noon recess, the current Speaker of the House, and all other Democratic Senators and House Representatives who voted for this FISA law, read the Constitution of the United States!" SHAME!

  • Very Very true! I wrote To Brown twice about this.

I have a bachelors degree in electrical engineering and I still can't find a job. I was laid off in November of 2001 and still can't get any interviews for an engineering job. Employers act like I'm ignorant and a big loser but boy do they scoop up those non-Americans real fast!

  • It is very unfair the US companies have found a loophole that allows them to bring in foreign workers to the US and pay them the same them make in their foreign countries, by using the L-1 Visa, as opposed to the more common H1-B Visa.

  • Are you kidding?

  • Who cares. Democrats will raise taxes, Republicans will depress wages. In the end they both effect the downward pressure on purchasing power. DUNCAN HUNTER 2008!

  • What American promise, (that if you work hard and play by the rules, you'll be able to get by.)who told you this??, Some politician?? Just sit on your ass and wait for it to happen, Ha Ha, Your the one they talk about who at 65 years old and retired and only get 600.00 a month from SSI.

  • And with the new global warming laws, more jobs are going to leave, you wouldn'd be able to light match in this country let alone steel with all tht coal smoke.

  • That commercial won the race for Sherrod Brown. Even the Plain Dealer writer noted that.
