  • what kind of motor you got on there? specs would be nice. Thank you

  • it's an ametek 40VDC permanent magnet tape drive motor form the USA.

    I've just changed it to a Windblue Power motor (see my other videos) 150rpm gived 12V.

  • that thing goes pretty fast but how much power does it generate

  • 30W+ 24 hours a day!

  • Without being an expert, you might be able to get more power, by increasing the gearing. A whaterwheel works best when it runs slow, so it doesn't create a lot of turbulence (lost energy)

    If you got the parts, try some different gearing (and thereby wheel speed)

    And another thing, the chain looks very slacky.

  • you have a transformer to charge batterys or something?

    Have you consider a pipe with a turbine in it?

  • not bad, but do small waterfall and lot of more power this waterwheel around 15-30% but with waterfall not big 50-60cm and 2-3xmore power
