in this scene we can see "the real" Jess .

Jess who just lined up for hours to get tickets for the destillers to surprise rory.

he tried to be that kind of boyfriend, rory wanted him to be.

he was the one who really loved her, from season2 when they first met to season6 when she visited him in philly .

dean was a good first boyfriend, really .. caring, nice, reliable but he got boring and overprotective .

logan was okay, but not the right one for rory.
