  • Both 20" G5 iMac models (PowerMac8,1 and PowerMac8,2) support a Maximum of 2GB of memory (thats two 1GB memory modules) while the third 20" G5 iMac (PowerMac12,1 - the one with the iSight camera) supports a maximum of 2.5GB of memory (that's a single 2GB memory module + the built-in 512MB memory)

  • I have a 20'' imac g5 2.1ghz with isight. Does the back come off the same for the ones with the isight?? i know i only have one slot and i want to upgrade from 1 to 2 ghz in that slot putting me at2.5ghz

  • i saw on ur website the 2gb ram's dose that mean i can put up to 4gb's of ram on my imac G5? and i subed cuz ur vids are really helpful
