Best watched at 720p and in fullscreen.
Because its in HD format you can use the pause button at any time to look in detail at any buildings.
It was extreamly windy on the day I filmed this so it was hard to keep the shots steady.
Because the Falcons nest on the river side of the cathedral I was not able to video from that side so was not able to show the new swing bridge and Cathedral Green.
This is some video footage I took in May 2009 from the top of Derby Cathedral.
Derby Cathedral is located in the City of Derby, Derbyshire, United Kingdom.
Some observation tests for you:
1) Can you spot the tower of St Lukes church?
2) The bright yellow building at the bottom of Uttoxeter New Road?
3) Mackworth water tower?
4) BBC Radio Derby?
5) The Old Bell Hotel pub?
Watching this footage and comparing it with the one I took in 1994 you forget just how much the City has changed in the last 15 years. Derby from the Cathedral in 1994:
