The first mini rigs came out in 1981 and included Tri-Pod Laser Cannon, Radar Laser Cannon, MTV-7,PDT-8, MLC-3, INT-4 and AST-5 (The orange folding one shown in video). I don't have all RotJ mini-rig designations.

  • Shuttle might lookl ike crap, but it was awesome to be able to buy yourself a vehicle without having to harass you folks for one of the expensive mega sets. not that i had to harass much...was a bit spoiled to be honest.

  • lol thi sis too much, i didnt even see this in the background of rotj

  • @SothManigan With the wings that spun 360 degrees? It was an interesting design, but it just seemed a bit iffy to me because it had no window at the front. I loved the orange folding one, and the one with folding wings that fit inside the AT-AT. There was a cool little Hoth tank too with twin cannons on the front.

I never had the one with suction cup feet though, with the gripping claw on the back.

  • @stoningtonj i guess that be cool but i like prequels a bit more since im only 11 and prequels are more my generation but i like originals to and i buy figures for both but mostly prequels

  • @stoningtonj I agree.

  • @transformerschandler true...but i wish theyd update the older ones...they had more of a classic star wars feel...nothing against the clone wars and prequel stuff...just not the same :\

  • @stoningtonj deluxes are kind of like them

  • I had that orange thing. I always thought the design on that was kind of interesting. There was also a green Rebel thing that looked like a canteen that was some kind of an answer to the speeder bike, remember that?
