Motou vs Kinomoto, powers of Ancient Egypt vs the powers of Ye Olde England. 40 card deck vs 52 card deck, Millenium Items vs Card...capturing...stick? Whatever, Yugi would win- Sakura has all magic and monster cards, Yugi has Trap Cards. Anf the Celtic Guardian. The Celtic Guardian has a sword, do Clow Cards have swords? NO! FCK the Clow Cards! Though Syaoran has a sword...He can fight and beat Kaiba!

@loppytaffy Not exactly 'Ye Olde England' the Clow Cards were made using a blend of eastern and western magic, so I think China is involved in the mix somewhere too! Syaoran is Chinese and he's Clow's descendant. As for trap cards- I'm sure some Clow/Sakura cards could be used as traps, like the Loop, or Mirror (Remember those trap cards- Mirror Force or Mirror Wall?) As for swords...well, there is a Sword Card. I'm sorry, I think Syaoran is adorable but I'm pretty sure Kaiba could kick his ass.

I guess CCS is the winner since it's a more preferred classic and also came before (I think?) but since I only watched like 20 episodes of that and more than 100 of Yugioh, I have to say...

Season 0 and 1 only, though. GX and 5Ds is just... :/

@ayesha36 Season 0 was the best as far as I'm concerned...but I think that might be because 4Kids didn't have the chance to ruin it.

@XBlackRoseAlchemistX Ah yes, but that depends on one vital question. Were you watching the 4Kids version? Because they butchered the series so badly they ended up giving the series a bit of a bad name. Personally I prefer the subs, and above that I prefer the manga. Its kinda funny, because the dubbed version of CardCaptor Sakura butchered that story as well. I wondered for a long time if these dubbing company's have something against stories with magic cards perhaps?

@XBlackRoseAlchemistX That was my exact reaction as a kid. After I gave YuGiOh a chance I noted that it was different and fell in love with the storyline. The fact that it base almost everything on Egypt helped its case a lot. I was a nerd when it came to the Egyptian culture at that age.

@BrokenAndFallen Nah, Kaiba's too paternal to hurt a kid (in the manga, when they arrived at the orphanage, Seto told Mokuba 'i'll be your father from now on D':), so Syaoran would win hands (or cards) down.

Loop and Mirror would be more of Field Spell cards.

I still don't like how they just add new characters and whatnot. For me, it's the original that stays true to the story the most.

@ayesha36 5ds isnt even that bad, most people that say its bad havnt even watched 1 episode, i'm not implying that your like that, dont get me wrong, but the dark signer saga isnt that good, everything after that, i actually like in 5d. ((Subbed is better then dubbed, just like with most animes))
