Critical Mass has made me lose all respect I once had for cyclists.

Its been a year now since your post. There is a new bike lane and even more hatred for CM. I dont disagree with the idea of less emissions, and I try to ride my bike as much as I can (Im located in the tri-cities) but if they are going to make the argument that they ARE traffic it would be nice if they were held accountable to the same rules as traffic...like Mr. Owen should be...fricking hack.
Cant have it both ways.

you sure got a lot of nice ASSES in your shots .... I liked this video at least

you critical mass assholes are fucking useless, you just slow us all down, which uses more gas and creates more pollution just so you can be douche bags, its fucking ridiculous, really.

what we 'read into it,' is an extra hour added to the commute home on the last friday of each month. people packed into transit buses held up at one intersection after another while you clowns tinkle your little bicycle bells and cheer. whoopee! it isn't 'supposed to do anything??" well, it does. but i do agree with you about bikes being traffic. they are definitely that. do all your employers give you time off to start this event every month a couple of hours before the end of the work-day?

here they come again. CM=ARROGANCE
yes, the DO seem to have the power, as their little song goes... but they probably do not have the support of the city and surrounding municipalities? people who simply want to get home and start their long weekends can look forward to adding time to their friday commute. the bikers are doing little for their cause by taking this kind of action.

it's ture. i am a biker but i do drive to meetings that are far away or to buy large items and i support everything that can get people out of their cars and into enjoying all the amazing benefits that other modes of transportation provide. but CM just irritates me. it obviously does more harm than good to the cause.

you guys really, really suck. if this is supposed to gain favour with the public, you are soooo out of whack.
tonight, may 29, you again held the commuting public to ransom while you forced public transit folks to take an extra hour to get home. nice job..get a job

lol. don't read too much into it. the ride isn't "supposed" to do anything; it's a bunch of cyclists riding together, safely, for the joy of riding, just one day out of the month. please remember that every other day of the month, the commuting public is "held ransom" by cars and SUVs and all the accidents, rage, and congestion that they bring. bikes don't block traffic; bikes ARE traffic.

You might say that we're dreamers. But we're not the only ones.
