Pokemon Black Fire Monotype Challenge Finale - VS. Champion Alder

Finally the final battle against the Champion Alder! This will be a tough battle, bring your best team, because you're in for a great battle.
Accelgor - With a Base Speed of 145, it'll be almost impossible to outspeed. Thankfully it's Defenses aren't that good so you shouldn't have too much trouble. It's got Focus Blast, Bug Buzz, Me First and Energy Ball. Because of it's Speed, Me First will almost always work and use the move you're about to use with x1.5 extra power. It's got the Hydration ability so keep the rain out.

Bouffalant - Don't use Grass moves on this or it's Atk will be raised by 1 and it takes no Damage because of Sap Sipper. It has a well rounded moveset with Head Charge (It's the same as Double-Edge but with less recoil), Megahorn, Earthquake and Stone Edge. It's pretty slow so a bulky Fighting type should still outspeed it and should take it out with Fighting moves. It's Defenses are pretty good too so be careful.

Druddigon - You've faced a few in the Opelucid Gym so you should know how to beat it. It has Outrage, Superpower, Night Slash and Payback so it's covered it's Dragon and Ice weaknesses. It also has Rough Skin ability so don't use Physical Contact moves.

Vanilluxe - N used one and this shouldn't be hard. It's got Ice Body, like that would help it. It has the moves: Blizzard, Flash Cannon, Light Screen and Acid Armor.

Escavalier - It has Swarm as it's ability and has the moves X-scissor, Iron Head, Aerial Ace and Giga Impact. It's extremely slow and being Bug/Steel, it's completely destroyed by Fire.

Volcarona - You are unlikely to have faced one of these unless you went in the Relic Castle after the main storyline. It has the Flame Body ability and has the moves: Overheat, Quiver Dance, Bug Buzz and Hyper Beam. BEWARE of Quiver Dance, it raises the user's SpAtk, SpDef and Speed by 1 with every use. It's a Bug/Fire type so take it out with Rock moves. Don't give it a chance to set up or you're screwed.
