First single from the forthcoming Junior Boys album 'It's All True' out on Domino Records June 14th (US) & July 4th (UK/EU).
The track is called "Banana Ripple" and in its 9+ minutes of dance hit glory, Junior Boys bask in a multitude of cultural, geographic, and gastronomic touchstones: namely Orson Welles, Howard Hughes, China, in particular Shanghai, Japan (the band, not the country) Banana Ripple ice cream, Carl Craig and analogue synths.

sometimes i hear a christian message vaguely disguised under the awesome beats this band puts out (is this the same guy that makes music in other bands that are chill-wave-ish and house-ish?)) i end up going on a wild goose chase when i try to find info about him (them?) am i sort of right, or??

Pretty much unlike most artists today, these guys actually create top notch quality music and one could easily call it art without the faintest hint of arrogance!
