York beautifully sums up thee limits of royal power in feudal, mediaeval England. The conference between the lords feels timeless. Great and beautiful drama. Shakespeatare was a genius!!! ( SHAME on those who try to steal his honours for the benefit of the unpleasant ( understatement ) earl of Oxford! )

I cannot tell how much I love the conference between Northumberland and the other lords! Apart from being quite inspiring in similar political miseries its poetry is divine:
"If then we shall shake off our slavish yoke, Imp out our drooping country's broken wing, Redeem from broking pawn the blemish'd crown, Wipe off the dust that hides our sceptre's gilt And make high majesty look like itself"
- I hope to give likewise succour to the maladies of my own nation quite soon...
