Grap Luva actually sampled that at 4:52

to me hip hop is all in the sample...its the recreation of something old. how creative you are is based on how well you chop up that sample. Rock does it the best. well dilla then rock!

pete rock nigdy nie szedł na łatwizne

@oskamadison word man, he always samples completely different sounds and they come together so nicely, he utilizes way more samples in one track than other producers
-
@CCooke3 TRUTH!! The crazy thing is how he'll have samples from multiple records and have them all sounding like they belong together, a lot of times even in the same key! And I don't think anyone freaks basslines better than him. the closest one is MAYBE, Dilla.

theres something about a pete rock beat that just sounds so clean. the drums are so clear, the snare is loud, and the way the kicks hit the basslines is absolutely nasty. he has like the absolute perfect mixes
-
Where does he get the sub for the first beat though? You cant just layer any out of key sub. How does he get it perfect!
