Jawbone's new jambox can't stay still when playing music. The body is too light and as you can see in this video, it can fall off your table and there goes $200

  • If anyone really care that it's moving just go buy some rubber feet that you would use on say a glass table to keep it from sliding and place them on the bottom. That should keep it still if it matters to you !!!! Just my .02 cents

  • @nitrors4pr the base of it is already rubber, and if it jumps around enough to fall off the table... well that's a $200 speaker that can jump off the table and dent the body and maybe die out

  • first off you have half of it in mid air dumb ass and this video just proves its a bad ass little speaker.

  • @Macssacre does not matter if its in the middle of the table or the edge, I just clipped the video down to the part where it jumps enough to fall off another display. Otherwise this video clip would be longer than 4 mins of it shifting off the slingbox. Second, if you think its so bad ass go and drop the $200 on this speaker and watch it bounce off your table for youself and dont go complaining when it stops working or if it decided to blow out the speakers.

  • Mine moves all the time - has fallen at least 3 times.

  • its been playing music for so long the jambox decide to commit suicide

  • I can also confirm that the Jambox moves a lot in play - and not even at top volume with bass heavy music - it does it with speech too - at 2/3 volume. As much as I love it - it's annoying that I have to keep my eye on it to make sure it's not going to fall off whatever surface I've put it on...

  • @energ8t and I only play through Bluetooth, so it's not the cables at all.

  • My Jambox has fallen three times because it rotates clockwise when playing loud music and "migrates". It is not necessarily dependent on excessive bass or not. The product should be designed to handle it's own output - period. Mine now rattles and has 3 dents in its metal grill from falling. The first fall was off a 6 inch wide tile shelf in the shower where it got wet while falling 6 feet. I got mine on trade with the company that actually designed this thing, so I'm not just spewing hot air.

  • I'll take a Boombotix BB2 over this Jambox any day. It's a third of the price, more portable and I think sounds better. Jambox might have a bit more bass but it's about 3 times the size...AND weight.

  • that is supposed to happen when listening to shitty music

  • ur wires are pushing it

duh it's supposed to be wireless
