Can't get enough of them heat strips. I don't know why; I get a lot of requests to do videos about heat strips, too.
if my strips get broken ,where can i get it???o where can i get the parts to repace it???

@prad2s If one of your strips is broken you would have to get the parts from a supply house or order them. Just because the strip isn't coming on doesn't mean that it is broken, unless you have seen it. I STRONGLY recommend that you hire a professional to change out the heat strip; This is 240 volts and you need to make sure that the job is done correctly and SAFELY the first time. This voltage can kill you easily and/or start a fire if not properly installed! Take care, Michael

how hard is it to the the new element coil
into those round firebrick spacers
hdyudu 3 years ago
It's not really that hard, more time consuming than anything. This is because the new elements don't look like this, they look like a screen door spring and you have to stretch it out as you go. So you have to be patient and not stretch it TOO far or you wind up with too much and have to try and compress sections back down :) Most of them are replacable but some are welded in and you just have to buy the whole heat kit to do it right.
