So great! Now I don't have to worry about mounting tires on my 75' cb360! Saved me money thanks! I wonder if the bag is a slightly thicker if it would pull out a bit easier? Maybe?

Great idea, would it be any easier if you sprayed the bag or tyre with Windex or liguid soap? Thanks for sharing

Wow, i wish i knew about this method when i swapped the tyres on my old road bike. The headache of it all, the swearing, the holding back from throwing stuff, all gone!
It took you longer to remove the bag than to fit the tyre,,,,,LOL.
Why not cut the back side of the bag close to the tyre before pulling it out from the front. This way theres less to pull through and it will come out easier and faster.
Nice trick though, pity it wont work for removing the tyre.

The bags usually pull through easily. Of course, the one we video-taped was stubborn! You could cut off the bag before pulling it out, but use scissors and not a knife so you don't cut the tire.
