Long live the 70s! In my home, my fridge is never complete without a 6-pack of Schaefers. I wish they remade the 8-pack of small glass bottles, I believe it's the 4 ounce (correct me if I'm wrong). The 70s is my way of life, the clothes, the music on vinyl, and of course, Schaefer beer, the one beer to have when you're having more than one! Dig it?!
Fantastic! Several friends of mine and I are Schaefer People. Many of our self-created Schaefer Hall of Fame and Ring of Honor events are chronicled at:
This was a spot from the mid-'70s, when Schaefer moved away from their "one beer to have when you're having more than one" slogan to their unsuccessful "Schaefer People" campaign. There was a decline in Schaefer's popularity among beer drinkers at the time, and they were unable to stem it....
The "Schaefer People" ads sucked. The best were in the 70s. "Schaefer, is the, one beer to have when you're having more than one."
