I thought the UN were going to scrutinize NATO operations in Libya to see whether they were all commensurate with resolution 1973? This latest Syrian "atrocity" "hundreds dead" seems to synch too perfectly with the UN security council vote doncha' think?

The US has more reason for a civil war than any of those arab countries.

good video
Not sure what to make of this at the moment. I've heard a lot of people saying that hundreds of civilians have been murdered in Syria.

@HydraLaEx It's now a full blown civil war thanks to the West covertly arming extremists/rebels. There are citizens taking arms in support and against Assad. Unfortunately there's going to be innocent casualties caused by both sides. The best option would be some kind of cease-fire and election process, which Bashar was actually already putting in place. The problem with a "peace-keeping" mission is that is that their independence will be taken away by some Western puppet.

@DrThorpeLee I may come over to back some videos up, but I feel the people we need to reach are more accessible on here.

ah you cant trust these videos. they can be easily faked in some other country with some hired staff that poses as rioters. like the cheering crowd in 2003 that celebrated around saddams toppled statue in iraq

@happosai27 I won't go overboard, there's clearly violence, but yeah a lot of the videos are cut at convenient points, they miss the actual "shootings", a lot of it is inconclusive. I'll never make excuses for attacks on peaceful protesters, but even then the West has no business getting involved. I fully support the Syrian people, but it's not our fight, at least not with our current corrupt Government running things.
