Transformers - "The Magnus of The Ultra" Overture

This is a re-enactment of a memorable scene from Transformers: The Movie. Call it a dramatic tribute of sorts to one of the Autobots' foremost renowned heroic soldiers... because if you don't love Ultra Magnus there is something WRONG with you.

The music is the Overture from "The Phantom of The Opera" and should help to put his death scene in a new perspective for those of you unconvinced. I'm going to attempt to counter some lame anti-Ultra Magnus blurbs:

Lame argument #1: "He died a wimp, he should have have gone out guns blazing, etc, etc!"

Wrong. The simple truth is his guns were blazing right up until Galvatron was 20 feet in front of him--and firing then wouldn't have done him a bit of good anyway. It's GALVATRON. So he did the noble thing by saving his comrades before pulling out his trusty Matrix and facing Galvatron alone KNOWING that death was very probable. That's called SELFLESS BRAVERY and good leaders usually always possess this trait!

Lame argument #2: "He died too fast, he's weak."

Ummm... no. Galvatron cooked Starscream with a single shot whereas Ultra Magnus took several close-range shots in a row from the Sweeps (all the while still trying to open The Matrix) before falling and exploding into pieces. His unarmed face-off with Galvatron also showed just how much faith he had in his former leader and The Matrix (with the sad irony being that Magnus "died" knowing he couldn't light their darkest hour and Prime must have been mistaken about him). Despite not being the "chosen one" his death was *obviously* a more-than-honorable one and we shan't discuss it any further! Shut up all of you and start getting Magnus-loving tears in your eyes, gawsh!! :P

Ultramagnus took a dozen direct shots to his body, obsorbed them shook it off but it was all too much and blew up that guy refused to fall for those guys like optimus prime fought all the way to the end, there was the true successor to optimus prime...not rod-EMO prime

He was trying to open the matrix but it wasnt there darkest hour just because your about to die does not mean its your darkest hour ago optimus was about to die but he didnt open the matrix everything is not about u ultra magnus

The only thing i hated about this movie, They turned UM into a bitch, he was kick ass in Season 3 and Headmasters.
