This intro 0:33 remind me so much the acoustic intro part in " The Best Of Times " by Dream Theater. Right ?

@dmohr7 this cannot e written!!! ^^^

now I can't play guitar....
-
@sheddski, no way man that's just wrong... it needs to be passed onto someone else who's totally awesome... I'm sure that's what Gary would have wanted
-
I saw his neck pick up, the bobbins were backwards, like he dropped it in backwards or something. Was this on purpose or just a freak thing? Ne one let me know cuz if it helps with tone Im flippin my neck pup tonight!

Gary is one of the greatest, he combined technique and feel, a true master!

-
@sheddski ya, I read about that at the time of his death...such a shame. That had to hurt.
-
@sheddski Is that true as I have been trying to find out what happened to that guitar? Travesty if it is but nobody will be able to make it sing like Gary so best it's left to RIP perhaps.
the sad part is THAT GUITAR IS SILENCED FOR EVER SOMEONE BOUGHT IT AT AUCTION TO SETTLE HIS ESTATE AND PUT IT AWAY IN THEIR COLLECTION NEVER TO BE SEEN BY ANYONE OF US AGAIN FOR EVER !!!!!!!

It's nice to see someone from the other side of the Atlantic appreciated Gary. I have never understood why he was not big in North America , especially when he returned to the Blues. I'm sorry that you and many others did not get the chance to see him live. At least we have memories,cd's and dvd's to remember him by. Get ready for the September release of his Montreux 2010 performance on dvd.

I am very lucky !!.. I first saw Gary on the Thin Lizzy Black Rose tour in '78 and many times after including his last UK tour. I have seen many players: Clapton,Vai, Satch, Zakk and many others. But it was Gary who always blew me away the most. His death left a huge hole in many peoples lives. I took my son on many occasions to see him live. I would always say to him " You will not see his like again !"
