Nice summary. I read the book and it has a lot more to say. I highly suggest this book to any one. What you didn't mention was that it talked about with the creation of the Internet the commutation is now two ways so there is little need to worry about bias reporters and ads to braid warsh us when the day come the Internet replace TV as the domit media source.

If it does get big, and people are making lots of money while reducing atmospheric CO2, that is better than anything. Because then, rapid climate change will be mitigated by people following their individual incentives, and also, that growing market ought to provide jobs. If you want to make a zillion bucks at it, go right ahead, be my guest. What else is there, except some sort of massive government boondoggle? That too would be a disaster.

@Thisawareness -- This is silly. Everybody should read that NYTimes article! The only way AGW is going to be stopped is by profitable development of innovations.
Indeed the WHOLE IDEA of carbon taxes, or cap and trade, is to make the development of green tech more PRICE-COMPETITIVE in the marketplace. It is simply the inverse of the massive government subsidies to carbon energy for nearly a century.
The sums of AGW money mentioned are TINY, compared with the profits of oil, gas and coal.

Magnificent little video!

Clunky. "has dangers from within" can be "has dangers within" or "contains dangers" (especially to get rid of the extra "from"). The last item of the list sets up an "if" that cries out for a "then" or a "by whom"? It's an action and the other three are entities.
I like the effort though and wish I had the patience to animate such things.

I honestly thought it was gonna put Al Gore down for a min. I always stick up for him. There is such alot of idiocy as far as Greehhouse-effect etc deniers and denigrators. God to see this!

Words and graphics in 90 seconds, you might be onto something...not a "review" as much as a teaser...
"The founding fathers knew from history that democracy has dangers from within: power of government itself, its control by money, its control by religion, and if the peoples' free debate of ideas is stopped."
Rewrite that.
