  • ZERO! The kind of radiation detection displayed is ELECTROMAGNETIC, IE: radio waves. There is no 'radiation still in that baby's bottle,' because as soon as the magnatron (wave source) is switched off, the radiation stops.

Post another clip with the bottle outside the oven.

  • hehe,

you bought a meter of electromagnetic waves, you are stupid, are not ionizanti radiation.

I suggest you remove this video.

  • Stupid people

  • Very misleading. Take it down.

  • I have an app for that.

  • @MilanKarakas Incorrect, at 0K there is no MOLECULAR MOVEMENT but radiation is not synonymous. There is STILL electron spin, fission and there can indeed be electromagnetic waves at 0K. As a matter of fact, radio waves at absolute zero propagate BETTER than warmer temps - theoretically (as we can't really get that cold.) When the magnatron turns off it no longer generates radiation - EM or otherwise.

  • @DrMotorDude "...because as soon as the magnatron (wave source) is switched off, the radiation stops."

Not really. If radiation stops, this mean that it reaches zero degrees kelvin. :D

(even then, it can 'radiate' with coolness or coldness.) :D

  • Look at 1:31 at this video: he clearly said: "radiation detector or ELECTROMAGNETIC". So, what you will pay then is nothing else than EM (electromagnetic) detector.

I bet that inside this box with display - there is NO any IONIZATION detector, but just some sort of 'antenna', amplifier and counter of whatsoever it "counts".

  • @docemmetthotmail Heh, one of the big misconceptions ever. It IS a 'radiation', else it is 'absorption'.

The trick is in the commercial - he sell a 'detector' for the "radiation", but not specified which one.

And, yes - baby bottle (with or without milk), coffee, food, and everything else 'radiate' HEAT (blackbody radiation).

It is amazing how people are confused easily when term is not complete, as is 'radiation' (of what?). Last letter in abbreviation LASER means what? Emission of ______?

  • notice how he doesn't actually check the food...

  • electromagnetic waves can not be called "radiation" are called electromagnetic waves.
