@skaterkidhma I am not sure what it is, as the people who have got injured are flexible. I think in sparring when there is a lot of force being generated it seems to play havoc with some peoples knees. I personally have been playing with these positions and dont currently have an issue, although against a really heavy or powerful opponent I would worry about the lateral stress on my knee joint. Personally I would prefer to use other techniques that dont run the risk of damaging my knee.
