That was my point the entire time btw, just because it works doesn't make it interesting.
It's as if all of these people giving thumbs down get offended by the truth, "oh he's not cirklejerking, thumbs down". Hilarious either way, reminds me of GT.
I think it's going to be like that when Hakumen comes up against Tager. It's just that being a boring winner is so much more appealing than being a flashy loser.

I know, but as I said, I thought it was a very dull match and nothing really noteworthy or interesting happened.
Just because it's a "new toy" doesn't magically make it fun to watch someone spam it. It's as if Ryu got a new Hadouken and he spammed it, not very fun to watch, catch my drift?
Also quite funny how I get thumbs down from obvious Hakumen players, as if thumbs even matter =P
well, yeah, but you don't play a fighting game so people can watch you...
actually, I guess you do, but my point is that right now, Hakumen has a new toy, a very, very nice toy, and it's just mean to take it away from him just because no one else has it. Eventually he'll get bored of it and try other stuff, the game's still new.

@asukira I don't like watching people stay away and poke alot, especially when they can do so much more.
Watching someone do the same thing over and over isn't very exciting, nor is watching someone playing it way too safe and running away just so they can win from time out. Sure all of it is viable and fair, but it's also incredibly boring imo.
I thought it was pretty good. THe thing is, Hakumen lacked that zoning he has now, so rather than abusing, it's more we're finally getting something to use, of course we're going to use it.

My two cents.

If you want interesting watch a combo video, or something other than BB: timeout edition.

Nice use of AC's magnetic pull from that Tager player to extend that combo at 0:52.

Boring match. The Hakumen player stayed away and abused his new pokes too much for it to be interesting.
