it is not West and East ..it is Muslim and Christian culture..that do not match in many cases...! other cultures in the Asia other than Christian and Muslim ...

for example the Hindu..the Buddu..the Chinese Cultures are open minded.

The world bank development report is to simplistic, although they highlight key areas that city and national governace can improve, in trying to meet the 3D's. This approach is to simplistic and focuses on economics. The world bank dismisses any connection so social and environmental causes and states that it is a purely economic cause. A grass routes persepective is needed to understand development within cities and agricutlral regions rather than this top down appoach.

This video highlights probably the most important point, dont try and shape the market, let people migrate to places, let economic grwoth occur unevenly, but accomodate the movement of people with infrasturcture as at the end of the day there will be convergence.

It is about time people took charge of their destiny, because over the years IMF did nothing tangible to reduce world poverty, instead they made it worse with the way they managed the world economic affairs especially those of the developing countries. No wonder a speaker from London Hyde Park corner (Speakers Corner) called them the - International Mother Fuckers (IMF)
