Punk is the only genre where I always hear people arguing about what's "real punk" and what's not. Such arguments most likely come from a bunch of sheltered Suburban kids trying to break out and rebel, but are afraid they're doing it wrong. If you're afraid you're doing it wrong, you're doing it wrong.

@Yoshiling I agree. The biggest problem with punk is that we can't unite. How can we combat this flawed society when we fight amongst eachother? The suburban rich kids and the homless squatters need to band together, united by punk. I know it sounds crazy, but backgrounds shouldn't matter. We hold the same ideals and will fight the same fight.
